Day 1: Sacred Valley Tour – Ollantaytambo – Overnight in Ollantaytambo

We will pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 am to start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will visit the archaeological complex of Pisaq, located 30 kilometers from the city of Cusco, which is one of the most important and visited within the tourist circuit of the City. This town is divided into two zones, the old one, located in the upper part, is an Inca archaeological site, and the current one, located in the valley, dates from the colonial era. Its main square is an entertaining place full of color and with various craft items for sale.

We will enjoy a buffet lunch in the town of Urubamba, located 38 km from Pisaq.

After lunch we will continue towards Ollantaytambo, which is the only town from Inca times still inhabited. Nowadays, it is an important tourist attraction due to its Inca constructions and the picturesque beauty of its cobbled streets.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Return to Cusco

We will take the first train towards Aguas Calientes, where we will immediately board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu.

In company of the tour guide, you will get to know one of the wonders of the world, considered a master piece of Inca architecture. For about two hours and a half, you will admire the Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Intihuatana (sundial), the Temple of the Moon, etc.

If you wish, you will have some extra time to walk the citadel on your own, enjoy the landscape and take pictures.

After buffet lunch, which is reserved in Aguas Calientes, we will return to Ollantaytambo, where the travel agency staff will be awaiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco on a private transport.
