New promotional rate on tickets to Machu Picchu

This initiativewas given bythe Ministry ofCulturewho said thatthe newrate foreveningaccess will beexclusivelyfor domestic and foreignresidents in the country.

The new ratewill be foradultsS/. 45 andS/. 22 forstudentsrespectively,which will be availablefrom13:00pm,andwill be valid forat least 6months.Thusit is intended thatthe entranceto the citadel ofMachuPicchuis notonlyin the morninghoursin mosttouriststake it.

It is noteworthy thatmonths ago, theDecentralizedCultural Department ofCuscoasked theVice Ministry ofCulturalHeritageandCultural Industries, the implementation of a newpromotional rate, which offsetthe amount of incomeboth inthe eveningand inthe morning.
