Day 1: Reception at the Airport - Transfer to accommodation - City Tour - Night in Cusco

You will be welcomed at the airport with your name on a sign with the logo of the agency then transferred to your hotel where you can sit and relax to start at 13:30 the City Tour where he meets the attractive colonial and Inca's historic center as Qoricancha and the Cathedral of Cusco, besides the archaeological remains of the surroundings as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

 

The tour ends at approximately 19:00.

 

Day 2: Tipon - Andahuaylillas - Pikillacta - Night in Cusco

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 8:30 am pick you up to start our visit to the South Valley of Cusco, about 45 minutes away.
Visit the beautiful site of Tipon, a large space of Andean culture and the cult of water, there will observe the 12 terraces and its impressive irrigation system that still dates from the Inca era.
Take the bus to our next destination, the pre-Inca archaeological site Pikillaqta was one of the most important administrative centers of the Wari culture with its excellent urban distribution that existed long before the Incas again.
Continuing our tour we will know the "Sistine Chapel of America" named to the colonial church of Andahuaylillas whose architecture is a living representation of the beautiful Andean religious art with his paintings of the seventeenth and eighteenth century.
We return to the city of Cusco in the afternoon to finish the expedition.

OPTIONAL: With previous reservation we can make a culinary visit to the towns of Tipon Saylla or to sample traditional dishes like Cuy baked or fried pork rinds.

Pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am to go to the town of Maras roughly one hour from Cusco, populated very important during the colonial era as it was the main supplier of salt in the region, we can see the colonial porches and Republicans; in addition to its attractive streets.
Another attraction is the highlight will visit Moray Inca complex is located 7 km from Maras. Within Moray, we find a huge set of terraces which served as agricultural laboratories to sow lot improved in the area and other regions of Tahuantinsuyo products.

And to end our tour of the day visit the salt mines located northwest of the town of Maras, you are salt mines are constituted by about 2000 small wells with an average area of about 5 square meters, which runs a stream of salt water, exploitation of these salt mines dating back thousands of years, and today it is worked by the families of the communities.


We return to Cusco about 18:00 pm to rest of the expedition.

Pick up from your hotel at 08:30 to start the tour in the town of Pisac, whose archaeological site is one of the most important and visited the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo that next to Machu Picchu architectural part of the main circuit Cusco, then descend to meet the main square and its various craft items for sale. After a journey of nearly two hours, we enjoy a nice lunch buffet in the town of Urubamba.

Concluding our lunch buffet will continue to Ollantaytambo, which is the only city of the Incas in Peru which is still inhabited. In Ollantaytambo there are platforms of resistance (to prevent slipping), nonagricultural and other archaeological sites of Cuzco. Today it is a major tourist attraction because of its Inca buildings and as one of the most common points of departure of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, ending the tour you can go to your hotel in Ollantaytambo to rest.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Night in Cusco

Very early in the morning after breakfast at the hotel we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, we will go so immediate to the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu where began the tour accompanied by our guide around the (approximately 2 hours) archaeological complex, you can see all the main attractions this historic sanctuary, if you want you can have free time to wander on your own, take more pictures and take every detail of this beautiful Inca citadel, on his return to Aguas Calientes have reserved a delicious lunch buffet.
